Tisane (an infusion, as of dried herbs, used as a beverage):
Drinking an appropriate Tisane, as against Tea (Black or Green), may improve your overall health in many a ways.
Tisanes have no caffeine, while traditional teas have less than 50 percent of what is contained in coffee. That means one can consume a Tisane without those pesky effects on your nervous system.
Tisane may keep your smile bright:
Tisane can decrease tooth loss. It changes the pH in your mouth when you drink it and that may be what prevents cavities. Beyond that, Tisane, unlike many other beverages, does not appear to erode tooth enamel.
Tisane may boost the immune system:
Studies have shown that Tisanes can tune up immune cells so they reach their targets quicker. Holy Basil or Tulsi (Indian name of Holy Basil) has been used by Ayurvedic Practitioners for centuries to help keep the immune system strong after injuries or illnesses; thanks to its antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties.
Tisane may help battle Cancer:
Studies on this are currently mixed, which means more research is needed, but certain types of Tisane may prevent onset of Cancer.
Tisane may soothe the digestive system:
Tisanes, in particular Chamomile, can be good for people with irritable bowel syndrome, because it is an antispasmodic. And Lemon & Ginger Tisane can calm nausea. Get a dose of both with a Lemon & Ginger and Chamomile Tisane.
Tisane may relieve pain, prevent inflammation and build strong bones:
Nettle is a herb with mad-skills, incredible for pretty much anything. Nettles are insanely good for you, containing Protein, Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron, Magnesium, Beta-carotene, along with vitamins A, C, D, and B complex, all in a form that is easy for the body to use.
Stinging nettle is a herb for those with all types of arthritis and gout. Its anti-inflammatory amazing-ness combined with its minerals (Boron, Calcium, Magnesium and Silicon) eases pain while helping to build strong bones. While different types of pain killers are often a necessary evil for most with arthritis, using Nettle may help you to decrease the amount you need to take.
Nettle leaf tisane (a cup or more daily) relieves and prevents water retention and inflammation and nourishes the kidneys and adrenals.
Tisane – unadulterated, that is – is calorie free:
It provides so many options for flavor and versatility. You can have it hot or cold. And you don’t have to put anything in it, though you might want to add a Cinnamon stick or some Ginger. That means you’re able to hydrate with something other than water alone.
All the above mentioned and many more Tisanes are manufactured and marketed by RA BA Wellness, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
